A conex is a storage container used on barges to ship items overseas. They are also known as shipping containers.

A conex container typically comes in 20′ or 40′ lengths and 8′ tall with swing out doors on one end. Some containers are tall (9′ 6”) and referred to as “high cube.” Some come with swing out doors at each end, these are called double door units.
